COVID statement
Through collaboration with our clients and the close monitoring of government advice, we have gained a deeper understanding of the event challenges and requirements during this period. As part of our ongoing commitment to protecting your health and safety, whilst at Black Dog Institute events we intend to introduce a range of enhanced measures to safeguard the wellbeing of everyone who attends. COVID-19 public gathering restrictions are subject to change and Black Dog Institute will comply with all recommendations as required.

Let's be COVID safe
Our primary concern is the safety of our participants, volunteers and staff.
In response to the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and as recommended by the Australian Government Department for Health, the measures we intend to undertake to help ensure your safety include the below:
1. Physical distancing
Government requirements of 1.5 meters will be strictly adhered to

2. PPE
All staff, volunteers, suppliers will wear personal protective equipment as required

3. Hand sanitiser
Stations will be provided within the event village for everyone to sanitise and keep safe

4. QR rego
Contactless registration and minimal touch points throughout event

5. Delayed start time
There will be a slightly delayed start time to comply with COVID restrictions

6. First aid
First Aid services wil be provided to assist and support throughout the events

7. Covid safety
A COVID Safety Officer will ensure all safety requirements are met

8. Additional cleaning
There will be additional cleaners on site to ensure cleanliness is optimised

9. COVID safe app
Please download the COVID safe app from any app store for further security

*Please do not attend our events if you are unwell*
If the event is cancelled
If COVID-19 restrictions leave us with no alternative but to cancel the events, you will have three options regarding your registration fee. You can either:

1. Convert
Change you registration fee to a donation

2. Delay
Carry your registration fee to the next event

3. Refund*
Get a refund of your registration fee
* Please note that refunds will only apply to the fee paid for registration. Generally, donations are non-refundable.. They will make a huge difference to people living with mental illness and we are very grateful. If you have any queries about this or do need a refund on a donation, please email fundraising@teamblackdog.org.au and we will assess on a case by case basis
