Tell me more…
Well for starters we cannot do these events without you!
We need you, your enthusiasm, your comfortable shoes and your warm clothes to help us set things up, register and cheer our walkers on, and keep them on track around the course.
You will be in teams of two or more. If you want to be with someone you know, no problem! Just let us know their name and we’ll do our best to put you together.
You will be supported by an enthusiastic volunteering team and the Black Dog Institute fundraising team.
We will let you know your role on the day and we will be in touch regularly prior to the event with all the details you need.
We do ask for volunteers to be over 16 years old. If younger, parental supervision is compulsory.
Please bring a fully charged mobile phone. You will receive a high visibility jacket to wear at the event and a full brief.
Make sure you check the forecast on the day and please dress for whatever an Aussie Autumn may bring.
Less is more! Only bring what you need as we are not allowed to store your belongings.
COVID restrictions permitting, there will be complimentary food, drink and entertainment at our Event Village for all volunteers.
Just let us know of any dietary requirements beforehand on your volunteer form.
You will also receive a certificate to say thanks, showing our appreciation of you being there - what are you waiting for? Sign-up today!
