We are standing up to join Team Black Dog to turn ground breaking research into life saving action.
As part of 2021 charity of choice, Pennant Australasia are working together from multiple sites to help raise funds for a mentally healthier Australia.
During 2021, we will conduct several fundraising events, with the second one - "October - Mental Health Challenge". It is 1708 km from Melbourne to Brisbane via Wagga. All of the Australian and USA team have been split into Four teams, Red, Gold, Blue and Green. Each team is to ride (non-motorised pushbike only – stationery exercise bike is ok), run, swim, row, roll or stroll our way to complete the Pennant Australasia and Pennant America joint goal of 1708km in the month of October.
Mental illness affects 1 in 5 Australians every year, with the most common being depression and anxiety. Mental illness doesn't discriminate. It affects people from all walks of life- individuals, families, workplaces and communities.
