Having lived with and struggled with my own anxiety and depression I know the impact and toll it takes on individuals and their families. Sometimes simple tasks, like getting out of bed can feel like the greatest challenge, facing the day.. impossible.
This Hike for Mental Health provides me with an opportunity to challenge myself mentally, physically and emotionally and stand in solidarity with all those who have felt the pain of losing a loved one to suicide or who battle every day with mental illness.
I am doing this for all those who can't or who missed the opportunity.
Any donation you can make will help me in achieving my goal of $6000 and will ensure Black Dog Institute can continue to do the vital work they do in supporting those struggling with mental illness.
This hike is in loving memory of Sam and Marty. Forever living on in our hearts.
