Taylor’s meaningful moment
Taylor, a 22-year-old Twitch streamer and gaming content creator from Sydney decided to fundraise after losing a friend to suicide in 2017.
Taylor raised funds by playing Call of Duty and streamed it online via Twitch. Donations came from hundreds of people watching every time she played. The experience surprised even her.
"I didn't expect to be so emotional throughout the month. I had absolutely no idea how many of my own followers struggled with their mental health or had lost someone who was fighting their own battles.
"There were many tears, emotions and stories shared on stream. It only solidified my community and was a huge awakening for everyone.”
