MCS – Let’s Talk About It

By Janine May Join Me

And it’s time we talk about it

Mental health. It’s real. It matters. And it’s time we talk about it.

At MCS (Melbourne Car Scene), we’re saying it loud and clear: It’s okay to not be okay.

MCS isn't just about builds and cruises - it's about the people behind the wheel.

We all have mental health; just like we have physical health. Some days are good. Some days are tough. And that’s human. But bottling it up? Pretending you’re fine when you’re not? That’s heavy; you don’t have to carry it alone.

Why talking helps:

  • It breaks down stigma.

  • It helps others feel less alone.

  • It can be the first step toward healing.

  • It reminds us: we’re not in this by ourselves.

Whether you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, lost, or just… off — let’s talk about it.

Start the conversation:

  • "Hey, how are you really doing?"

  • "I'm here with you, you don’t have to go through this alone "

  • "Let's have coffee & donuts."

  • Or even just: “Wanna go for  cruise?”

What you can do:

  • Be kind. You never know what someone’s carrying.

  • Be brave. Reach out if you’re struggling.

  • Be real. Honest conversations build stronger communities.

Support is here.

Whether it’s a friend, a teacher, a counselor, or a helpline — someone cares. Someone is ready to listen.

Because at MCS, you matter. Your mental health matters.
And we're ready to talk about it.

Help me create a meaningful moment for mental health, all for a great cause.

Please donate now. Thank you.

Spot the Support!

Thursday 31st Jul

There’s something powerful about seeing these stickers out on cars — on windows, bumpers, and rear windscreens, cruising the streets or parked up at a meet.

It’s more than just club pride.

It’s a reminder that we are talking. That we are showing up.

Each sticker represents someone who gets it — who’s chosen to stand up for mental health and drive the message further.

You never know who’s behind the wheel…

Someone who’s struggling. Someone who’s healing.

Someone who’s been through it — or is just starting to find the words.

Every sticker is a small sign with a big voice:

You’re not alone. We’re in this together.

And that’s why we’ll keep going — one car, one story, one conversation at a time.

MCS — let’s talk about it.
