It’s been a while

Wednesday 26th May
It’s been a while since my last update, I’ve been fighting a bit of the man flu while slowly chipping away at my 250km target. 

Coming into the last 5 days now with 45km left to run is a huge relief knowing that I have pushed myself to the limits both mentally and physically. Although I’ve had moments when I was sure I had set the bar too high, I can hold my head high and be proud of what I have accomplished. 

Just an update

Wednesday 5th May
In the first few days of running I have been able to knock out 41km. 

A 25km on the second day was a hard fought battle but in the end I was able to get it done..

This May I will be running 250km to help raise funds for Black Dog Institute. 

I would like to help raise awareness of mental health issue among males and help change the culture and stigma attached to men’s mental health struggles. 

Nine Australians die every day by suicide. 
- 75% of those who take their own life are male.
- In 2019 data showed a total of 3318 deaths by suicide, of those 2502 were male.
