Lockie Welch and myself, Flynn Mitchell will be embarking on our first 100km run along the Gold Coast foreshore to raise awareness for men’s mental health.
As someone who came from the toxicity of constant partying, I can see first hand the impact of changing my priorities and creating a life I enjoyed living, and how it had a domino effect on mental and physical health.
to now competing in triathlons and running events, we are trying to inspire and encourage others to put their health first. Mental and physical.
Mental illness affects 1 in 5 Australians every year, with the most common being depression and anxiety. Mental illness doesn’t discriminate. It affects people from all walks of life — individuals, families, workplaces and communities.
