This year I’m doing Sober October and I need your help to raise a bit of coin for the Black Dog Institute!
Most people who know me know how much I love a beer so it’ll be a tough month but all worth it in the end! I’ve decided on doing Sober October for the physical, social and mainly mental health benefits a month off the sauce can offer, while also making a bit of cash for a good cause.
Mental illness affects 1 in 5 Australians every year, with the most common being depression and anxiety. Mental illness doesn’t discriminate. It affects people from all walks of life — individuals, families, workplaces and communities. The Black Dog Institute raises money to help Aussies who struggle with mental illnesses.
Even if it’s only a dollar or two that you can donate, every cent is appreciated!
