The Jayden Chittick Open - 2025
Welcome to the fifth instalment of the Jayden Chittick Open, celebrating Jayden's life with his family and friends and playing the game he loved. Jayden inspired many people through his social media platforms, particularly those suffering from mental ill-health and drug addiction and the LGBT community.
This event has been an incredible day of inclusivity, remembrance and a great time to catch up with family and friends. It has additionally aided in raising over $26,000 for the Black Dog Foundation, who aid in mental health and suicide awareness. We are hopeful the day can continue to assist in reducing the suicide number within Australia.
The day consists of a 32-team mixed doubles competition on the 25th of January at Milton Tennis Courts, playing in a win or be eliminated format.
Milton Ulladulla Districts Tennis Association Inc have been kind enough to donate use of the courts for the day and we are extremely thankful for their ongoing gratitude. We also are extremely thankful for the many local businesses and individuals who continue to sponsor and assisted in making the day run smoothly.

Tuesday 7th JanIt’s that time of year again – another birthday to celebrate the incredible soul of Jayden Chittick! This year marks the 5th anniversary of the Jayden Chittick Open, and we couldn’t be more excited to continue honoring his life and legacy through this day.
The tournament has grown into an event that embodies inclusivity, remembrance, and connection. It’s a day where we come together to celebrate Jayden’s vibrant spirit, and an opportunity for family, friends, and the wider community to reconnect and enjoy a day of tennis and fun.
In addition to the game, the tournament has made a significant impact on mental health awareness. Thanks to the generous support of participants and sponsors, we’ve raised a heap of money for the Black Dog Foundation, providing crucial support for mental health and suicide awareness.
The format for the tournament remains a mixed doubles event. Teams will compete in a knockout-style bracket. The $50 buy-in per team will go toward supporting the event’s charitable cause.
Join us on this special day to celebrate a life that continues to inspire and bring people together. Whether you’re on the court or cheering from the sidelines, your presence makes this event even more meaningful. Let’s make this year’s Jayden Chittick Open the best one yet – for Jayden, for mental health awareness, and for the incredible community that surrounds him.

Tuesday 17th JanWelcome to the third instalment of the Jayden Chittick Open, celebrating Jayden's life with his family and friends and playing the game he loved. Jayden inspired many people through his social media platforms, particularly those suffering from mental ill-health and drug addiction and the LGBT community. The success of the past two events has raised over $22,000 for the Black Dog foundation which will aid in fast-tracking mental health research, preventing and treating mental illness within the community,
The day will again consist of a 32-team mixed doubles competition commencing from 10:00am onwards on the 28th of January at Milton Tennis Courts, playing in a win or be eliminated format.
As per previous years, Milton Ulladulla Districts Tennis Association Inc have been kind enough to donate use of the courts for the day and we are extremely thankful for their ongoing gratitude.
