Kokoda 2023

Help me create a mentally healthier world!

I'm standing up to join Team Black Dog to turn ground breaking research into life saving action.

Mental illness affects 1 in 5 Australians every year, with the most common being depression and anxiety. Mental illness doesn’t discriminate. It affects people from all walks of life — individuals, families, workplaces and communities.

I'm inspired by the work of Black Dog Institute and want to support them by raising money as part of my participation in Black Dog Institute's Hike for Mental Health: Kokoda 2023.

Please help me help them by giving whatever you can.

The more people that know about Black Dog Institute, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot to so many!

My Updates

New start

Thursday 11th May
So after a long month with work I’m diving back into both my fundraising and training efforts.

Upcoming I have my Bunnings BBQ organised for June and I’m lucky enough to also be hosting a BBQ with some work mates.

I’ve been overwhelmed since I’ve gotten back into the fundraising with the support and encouragement I’ve received.

My Kokoda Challenge

Friday 17th Feb
I lost my sister in November 2019 to mental health. Along the way I have watched my children say goodbye to some close friends who had also been fighting mental health issues. My aim is to raise as much money as possible to help with research and assistance programs as well as to raise awareness in the community.

Thank you to my Sponsors
