Help me create a mentally healthier world!

I'm standing up to join Team Black Dog to turn ground breaking research into life saving action.

Mental illness affects 1 in 5 Australians every year, with the most common being depression and anxiety. Mental illness doesn’t discriminate. It affects people from all walks of life — individuals, families, workplaces and communities.

I'm inspired by the work of Black Dog Institute and want to support them by raising money as part of my participation in Black Dog Institute's Hike for Mental Health: Kokoda 2023.

Anyone that tells me they are too busy to be active and healthy need to spend a week in our house!
Matt and I both work full time, we have a busy farm almost an hour from the nearest town (and drive into them everyday), we have 2 boys that are active and play footy a minimum of 4 days per week. We invest time into our dogs and attend our local dog training once per week, as well as take our dogs for a 30 minute walk every afternoon. We go to the gym before work a few mornings a week and also have an amazing PT once per week. We made the decision at the very start of the year to have a complete lifestyle overhaul. So that means we are cooking healthy nutritious meals everyday... no Maccas or KFC, which was so had in the begining.
So to date Matt and I have lost 16.8kg between the two of us. But we have gained so much more! Physical and mental strength, healthier bodies and are feeling pretty damn amazing!
