Mental illness can be overwhelming, crippling and isolating.
The Black Dog Institute has a vision of a mentally healthier world where they aim to significantly reduce the incidence of mental illness and suicide, remove stigma and empower all people to live the most mentally healthy life possible.
This September I am supporting this fantastic organization who bring together the strength of a medical research institute and a not-for profit organization, dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by poor mental health.
‘My Challenge’ is to walk the Great Ocean Walk…110kms from Apollo Bay to the Twelve Apostles carrying everything I need and doing it solo to show those suffering from depression, anxiety, PTSD and suicide that you are not alone and isolated …. there is always someone who is willing to listen.
Lets be those people…. Help me to make a difference!

Friday 3rd Dec Unfortunately there are things out of our control, and an issue with a fuel pump cost me the opportunity to walk the trail this time ... .but it has only been postponed until September.
Each step taken is one step closer to a goal......
