Hi everyone, it’s Brooke from World Gym Maitland Crèche here! 

Our goal for this fundraiser is to raise awareness of Mental Health in teens and young adults.

Too many teenagers and young adults around us in the Hunter Region are taking their lives due to mental health issues. 
A lot of these kids feel like they can’t seek help, they can’t find a way out and nothing will change for the better, we need to give them a positive place to feel safe, listened too and supported, no matter what the problem may be.

After having two seperate friends have their sons take their own lives within the last year, I wanted to do something to raise funds for an institute that can help make a difference. The Black Dog Institute are a organisation that strive to make a change to mental health and we want to help! 

Come along to World Gym Maitland on Saturday 20th March 2021 to watch myself get my head shaved, along with some amazing people jumping on board to shave their heads or beards also, extra classes, an awesome raffle, in-house comp and more!
