The reveal at the Greengate

The day started in the hairdresser and then moved on to lunch and a few drinks before culminating in a reveal event at The Greengate Hotel. Thankyou for all who came along making it a really memorable evening for Tom, John and myself. Again many thanks for your support to date.

Many thanks to Rachael, Graham and the rest of the team at Hair @ Wentworth for getting in the spirit of the day, making it truly memorable for us and giving us 3 hair styles that delivered the desired response that evening. 

1 week until Mullet Reveal

Only 1 week to go now until we sit in the barbers chair for the first time in over 8 months and get our mullets shaped. Join us at The Greengate Hotel on Friday the 28th to see how they turn out. Tom Williamson will also be taking to the chair as an added bonus Mullet!

1 Month to Go!

We are finally on the home stretch and looking forward to a pair of scissors in the hair for the first time in 9 months. John has resorted to heavy doses of product every morning to maintain his suave image whilst I prefer to keep it natural but the wind and humidity is playing havoc with this strategy!
Thanks for all your support to date. One final request is to join us at the Greengate Hotel on Friday 28 October from 5pm where we will reveal our magnificent mullets. 

Travelling far and wide

The hair is growing nicely for a couple of 50 year olds. This month we ventured to far corners of this great country to spread the Black Dog message. We will continue with a no haircuts policy until we are ready to reveal the resulting mullet. We are looking into an event later in the year for the grand reveal with details to follow soon. Many thanks to all who have supported us so far and we look forward to your ongoing support.

Mullets 4 The Mind Team Launch

At Criterion we are proud to support the Black Dog Institute in turning ground breaking research into life saving action. Craig and John are willing participants in Black Dog's September event, Mullets for Mental Health. 

A challenge went out after Cameron Smith, sporting a magnificent mullet, won the TPC Golf tournament in March. Grow a mullet and improve your golf! Well it probably won't do that but we were happy to take up the challenge if it meant we could raise money for Black Dog and have a bit of fun along the way. However, being in our mid 50's and used to getting a short back and sides every month we knew we had a long way to go to match the flowing locks of Cameron Smith or Ryan Papenhuyzen. So we have committed to no hair cuts since early March to hopefully showcase our glorious mullets in September.  

To demonstrate our commitment to trying to create a mentally healthier world Criterion has pledged $10,000 to Team Black Dog. We are hoping you will also provide your support with a donation.
