The Lockdown Push-up challenge
I'm standing up to join Team Black Dog to turn ground breaking research into life saving action.
Mental illness affects 1 in 5 Australians every year, with the most common being depression and anxiety. Mental illness doesn’t discriminate. It affects people from all walks of life — individuals, families, workplaces and communities.
I plan to help raise both awareness and money for the Blackdog institute by doing the same amount of pushups daily as there are current covid cases.
This is in an attempt to convince people to both stay home and to raise mental health awareness during a period of extreme lockdown and mental stress.
At the end of the challenge I will conclude by doing an amount of pushups that is equal to the dollar value raised.
