In loving memory Ricky ‘Bobby’ Banks
My son Ricky was an amazing soul with a heart as big as the ocean. He had a zest for life and loved to travel the world. He had a gorgeous 7 year old daughter who no longer has her beloved Daddy to cuddle and spend precious time with. Ricky was loved so dearly by his ‘Mudda’ and stepdad Tony. He had 5 siblings who adored him-Mark, Hayden, Brooke, Brittany and Molly-Mae will miss their big bro for the rest of their lives. Rickys Dad Peter and a wealth of family and friends treasured spending time with him as he lit up the room with fun and laughter. Heartbreakingly the black dog of depression grabbed hold of our precious Ricky over last year and he struggled to find the joy in life that he once had. Ricky tragically took his own life 2 months ago and broke many hearts. He couldn’t find the way out of the darkness. No mother should ever have to bury her child. It’s a pain that is suffocating at times. Fundraising to raise mental health awareness and medical research is a way of this mumma trying to prevent further losses of our loved ones that are gone too soon. This will also help a little bit towards healing my broken heart by keeping my sons memory alive. Miss you so much my ‘Bubblehead ‘ . An endearing name I gave Ricky many years ago because he did things without thinking and was so spontaneous with going on adventures and thrill seeking. Name stuck wth him right up till his tragic suicide. God bless my sons broken heart.🖤😞

On 6th August 2026 would have been My son Ricky’s 38th heavenly birthday. Ricky is forever 33 on earth. In honor of Ricky’s birthday I did a massive fundraiser auction on the WhatNot platform to raise much needed funds for a cause very dear to my heart.
