Next Challenge: The Molokai Hoe!
Wednesday 7th Oct
The formula was as simple as it was stupid....find a challenge that contained some combination of the words "hardest / longest / steepest / coldest / hottest"....and then attempt it. Usually with little to no experience in said discipline!!
Six years, an unlikely Australian record, nearly $650,000 raised and a war chest of calamitously incompetent stories later, we find ourselves refusing to break from tradition by heading over to Hawaii to compete in the Molokai Hoe, Hawaii's most famous outrigger canoe challenge.
The race is 66km of open ocean that crosses the Kaʻiwi Channel and favours burly men and women who have grown up mastering the complexities of the ocean. So it was an obvious choice for a group of skim latte drinking, soft handed office workers 😅 Share
Rottnest Channel Swim!
Friday 14th Mar
The tally is currently sitting at over $22K, which will be put to great use by the Black Dog Institute in meaningfully improving mental health outcomes in Australia. It takes our RLT team fundraising total to $653K, with our sights still firmly set on the lofty goal of $1M. If anyone has any suggestions for the next challenge we’d love to hear them! Share
