Shaving for Mental Health awareness
Hi everyone! In celebration of Mental Health Month, I will be shaving my hair, to donate into making a wig.
I want to raise money for BlackDog Institue, as I they do really important work in researching and bringing awareness to mental health.
Mental illness affects 1 in 5 Australians every year, with the most common being depression and anxiety. Mental illness doesn’t discriminate. It affects people from all walks of life — individuals, families, workplaces and communities.
As someone who suffers from mental health challenges, and has many loved ones who also fight their mental health demons on a daily, this is a special cause to me!
I'll be doing the big shave on the last day of this month.
