Karl Percival (29/1/1974 - 22/2/2013) was a long serving staff member of The Carrington Hotel and the founder of the Lady Luck Festival. Through this worthwhile cause, we hope to raise awareness of the often-unspoken mental health issues affecting our society.

Mental illness doesn’t discriminate – it affects 1 in 5 Australians every year with symptoms like depression and anxiety. The impact can be devastating, not only for those living with it, but for those around them.

The Black Dog Institute is the only medical research institute in Australia to investigate mental health across the lifespan. Their mission to achieve a mentally healthier world for everyone is something we hold close to our heart.
