Mental illness doesn’t discriminate – it affects 1 in 5 Australians every year with symptoms like depression and anxiety. The impact can be devastating, not only for those living with it, but for those around them.
We are very excited to introduce a student initiative in support of the Black Dog Institute aimed at raising awareness for Mental Health and promoting conversations amongst mates.
Our College initiative will include the opportunity for male students to have their hair cut amongst other fundraising opportunities throughout the term. As a College we aim to provide a similar fundraising opportunity for our female students throughout Women's Health Week later in the year. We look forward to promoting this initiative and keeping you up to date on our College facebook page along with opportunities to be able to donate to this wonderful cause.
