The Simpson Double Crossing

Help me make it meaningful

Mental illness doesn’t discriminate – it affects 1 in 5 Australians every year with symptoms like depression and anxiety. The impact can be devastating, not only for those living with it, but for those around them. That’s why I’m getting active and raising funds for the Black Dog Institute - to support crucial mental health research and support services that help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

A double crossing of the Simpson Desert by motorbike—over 1,400km of endless dunes, isolation, fatigue, and the mental battle to keep moving forward.

Riding unsupported, I’ll be carrying everything I need across one of Australia’s toughest and most unforgiving environments. There are no shortcuts out there—just long days, heavy sand, and the challenge to keep going when it gets hard.

I’m doing this for mental health, because for many people, the hardest battles are the ones no one else can see.

I’m proud to support the Black Dog Institute and help raise awareness and funds for Australians doing it tough every day.

Help me create a meaningful moment for mental health as I work up a sweat, all for a great cause.
