Damo's Tour de Mental Health

I'm standing up to join Team Black Dog to turn ground breaking research into life saving action.

This year I'm riding the Tour de France... sort of. I'll be riding the full race distance (3,328 km) over the course of 2022, and donating 10 cents for every kilometre I complete. It's nothing like the intense challenge the pros go through, but still a pretty massive step up from anything I've done before.

The Old Freeway - April 30

Saturday 30th Apr
At this point in the challenge, the Pro Peloton would have just finished Stage 7 with a ridiculous summit finish@ 24% gradient! In a poor attempt to match this feat I struggled my way up the Old Freeway to Crafers today...... Not quite the same, but I think I'll be happy to never have to see a 24% climb!

The Bend - Jan 30

Tuesday 1st Feb
45 kms completed after an unfortunately to put the helmet in the car before driving up and missing the first half hour of the session..... Hit a new lap PB though!
