Help me make it meaningful
In the last 12 months my communities lost three amazing individuals from issues around mental health. Before this I'd also known another, wonderful human who also lost their life from the same cause.
Mental health issues and their impacts can be felt all around us and can be devastating for those living with depression and anxiety as well as those around them.
For these reasons I've decided to throw my support behind the Black Dog Institute who support crucial mental health research and support services that help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.
This mental health month (and into November). I'll be hiking approximately 715kms along the length of the Australian Alps. During this time I will also be climbing the equivalent of Mt Everest with the amount of vertical covered.
