Mental health struggles are something we all face in one way or another. Whether it's anxiety, depression, or the long-lasting effects of trauma, millions of people around the world are affected every day. Sadly, the stigma surrounding mental health often means that people suffer in silence, without the support they need. The impact can be devastating, not only for those living with it, but for those around them.
That's why we've decided to walk 80km to raise money for Black Dog Institute - an independent non profit mental health research institute. We are walking the Manly - Bondi 80km coastal walk. This walk is often done across 2-3 days, however we are completing this walk in just one day. We are aiming to complete this walk in around 17 hours, as we did a trial walk of 40km in just under 8 hours.
