Help me in remembering Jackie and creating a mentally healthier world!

In 2021 I signed up to do the Melbourne 70.3 to commemorate the 10 year anniversary of losing my Mum to suicide in 2011. The event as postponed due to a little virus and so I will be lining up with my wetsuit, bike, runners and a whole lot of ambition (and jelly beans) this year on Sunday 13th November 2022!

I chose the Black Dog Institute due to their pillars of "Science. Compassion. Action." and crucially, the important work they do in Suicide Prevention Implementation. I truly believe this is a widely misunderstood area and that my Mum's death was preventable and it is research combined with action that will make a difference to others.
