God gave us each our own race to run, hence we’ve got to stop comparing ourselves to others. They have their race and you have you’res. Run hard and don’t quit.
This year it’s my goal to run a half marathon in Townsvilles running festival. The biggest kicker is that I’ll be conducting this with next to no training.
I’ll carry those words with me throughout the event because I can guarantee there’ll be times when I want to quit. Anyone that has faced some form of metal illness knows that sometimes you feel no other option but to call it quits. The hard part is finding that little bit inside that keeps you going and helps put one foot in front of the other.
