Exercising Our Mood Hawaii 2022
Its that time of the year again - September is the Black Dog Institute's EXERCISE YOUR MOOD MONTH.
The aim of the program is to increase community awareness of the importance of regular exercise for maintaining good mental health. The Black Dog Institute is a leader in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mental illness such as depression, bipolar disorder and suicide.
In order to raise continued awareness about the importance of exercise in day to day health we are going to take on the challenging Maui Channel Swim and Waikiki Rough Water Swim as a group.
We are a group of six swimmers of various ages whom all recognize the importance of exercise in our day to day lives.
This year the team consists:
Peter Thiel, James Hickman, Jarrod Poort, Wesley Roberts, Ollie Signorini and Duke Wieland in Team Blackdog Tattersalls Masters.
In raising awareness we are also looking to raise some money for the Black Dog Institute to support the great work they do! All donations are greatly appreciated.
