36 hour triathlon for mental health

Help me make it meaningful

Mental illness doesn’t discriminate – it affects 1 in 5 Australians every year with symptoms like depression and anxiety. The impact can be devastating, not only for those living with it, but for those around them.

That’s why I’m getting active and raising funds for the Black Dog Institute - to support crucial mental health research and support services that help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

Help me create a meaningful moment for mental health as I work up a sweat, all for a great cause.

Please donate now. Thank you.

Introducing myself!

Friday 1st Dec
Hello everyone and thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page!

My name is Henry and for a long time I have been a huge advocate for mental health especially in young men as I suffered with several different issues during my late teens and early twenties.

I have constantly strived to push myself and test my limits and that’s what has brought me to this 36 hour solo fitness fundraiser.

In April 2023 I completed 33 hours on a punchbag bareknuckle to raise money for a local dog rescue foundation. 2 years prior to this I was working toward the 55 hour punchbag marathon world record completing multiple 24 hour stints on a punchbag until my mum sadly and suddenly passed away.

Before this I completed 24 hours of non stop fitness for a mental health foundation based in NSW that aimed to help teenagers and young men deal with mental health issues and raised nearly $8,000.

I have done several other challenges before this but you get the idea..

If I can inspire just one person to get up and give fitness a go to improve their mental health or get themselves out of a rut my job is done.

Please help me hit my target by sending a donation through even if it’s a dollar as every cent matters and please help support my fundraiser by sharing this page and even supporting me on the day!

Thanks for reading,

Henry
