Hiking the PCT
Tuesday 1st MarIn April 2022, I’m heading to the US to hike the Pacific Crest Trail. I’ll be walking 4265km northbound (NOBO) from the Mexican border to the Canadian border of the US through California, Oregon and Washington.

The TL:DR version of it is that I struggled a lot in the transition from elite sport to “real life”. It’s taken a fair bit of work to get through it but I’m in a great place now and super excited to be not only doing this hike but also raising some funds for the Black Dog Institute who's online resources and research played a pivotal role in helping me navigate my experience of mental ill health.
