Help me make it meaningful
On July 11 I’ll be running 100 km — 250 laps around a 400‑metre track — to support mental health. Movement has always been an important outlet for my own wellbeing, and this run is my way of turning something that helps me personally into something that can help others too.
I’ve had my own struggles with mental health over the years, and I know how much courage it can take to speak up or reach out. Coming from a regional community, I’ve also seen how many people are affected and how hard it can be to access support. Mental illness doesn’t discriminate — 1 in 5 Australians experience it every year, and its impact reaches families, friends, and entire communities. Everyone deserves support, no matter where they live.
This run is also my way of contributing to the conversation — showing that talking about mental health, acknowledging the struggle, and taking action in whatever way we can all matters.
That’s why I’m raising funds for the Black Dog Institute, helping to drive crucial research and services for Australians living with mental illness and those affected by suicide.
Every lap is a reminder of why this matters. I’m running to create a meaningful moment for mental health — one step, one kilometre, one conversation at a time.
If you’re able, please donate. Your support truly makes a difference. Thank you.
