Mental illness affects 1 in 5 Australians every year, with the most common being depression and anxiety. Mental illness doesn’t discriminate. It affects people from all walks of life — individuals, families, workplaces and communities.
I started growing this curly mop on my head a couple of years ago as part of Black Dog Institute's 'Mullets for Mental Health' campaign, and I think it's about time to rid the world of it. I thought it would at least make the chopping process productive by fundraising some money for a great cause, with each donation of $10 being one chance in the draw to cut it off at my upcoming 30th.
