Race the Bus: Callaghan to NUspace Fundraiser Run for Mental Health

Mental illness affects 1 in 5 Australians every year. That’s why we're getting active and raising funds for the Black Dog Institute. Please see below for details.

Event: Race the Bus: Callaghan to NUspace Fun Run for Mental Health
Date: Friday 4th October 2024
Time: Arrive at 11:45am, for 12:00-12:10pm start.
Where: Bus stop on Ring Rd at Student Accommodation (near North Residence tower).

There are also a range of participation options available too!

•     Individual Runners: For those who want to run the entire distance on their own.
•     Relay Teams: For those who prefer not to run the full distance. Participants can split the course into parts and run a section each.
•     Bus Riders: A group will take the shuttle bus from Student Accommodation to University House (NuSpace). The shuttle bus takes approximately 35 minutes. This provides a dramatic start and finish point for the event: the race begins when participants board the bus and ends when they get off the bus and run to the finish line.
•     The Sweeper: A volunteer to follow the runners and ensure no one is left behind.
•     Finish Line Support: Volunteers to distribute drinks and take photos at the finish line.
