Thinking of you Jennie and Family at such a challenging time. ❤ I wish for nothing more than to find help, support and a cure for mental health issues and people struggling, so cruel to those people in it, as well as those around them ❤

I am Jonathan’s Aunty in Brisbane, my 2 girls were flower girls at the wedding. I had the pleasure of having J and H stay with us and our girls formed a beautiful connection with Hannah. My sister and I took Hannah to a day spa for a bit of R & R and it was such a bonding experience, she felt like another sister by the end of the day. We all miss her greatly. Sending much love to the family. X

May Hannah’s legacy of always helping others continue to live on. She was so so brave and fearless in her love for God and others.

I am so devastated to hear about Hannah. She was such a light and joy to be around in school. Sending love to her loved ones.

I’m now looking after my granddaughter who is feeling depressed and she has had suicidal thoughts. I am very vigilant of her as her mother did take her own life.

Hannah we will miss you. You died too young and we hope the donation can help more people in the future who has mental health. We know you were an advocate of better mental health awareness. I wish you could see how much of an impact you have had now.

Dear John, Jennie and your extended family, My sincerest condolences to you all for the loss of your beautiful Hannah. My connection was Bayside Church. I have fond memories of Hannah, who as a grade sixer was a part of my Girl Power Life Skills program I use to run at the Church. She was so excited and took everything in and did not miss a single week thanks to you both. There are no words that will bring her back, but I 100% know in my heart she is at peace and dancing with the angels. #ForHannah May her legacy live on. ❤️xx

Hannah volunteered on a research project I was managing with Monash University. She was very bubbly, confident and passionate and great at connecting with people. I am really saddened at her loss.

Dear Friebel Family, I had the privilege of meeting your beautiful daughter through her beloved husband Jonathan, in early 2023. Hannah and I connected instantly, and shortly drew parallels through our strikingly similar lived experiences. I too, have battled with the same invisible illness for almost 10 years. We both shared a passion for reform within our healthcare system. A lightbulb struck when we considered the combination of my legal mind, her wealth of knowledge and our firsthand lived experiences in this dehumanising healthcare system. Hannah’s ambition was mesmerising, and I always idolised her intellect, maturity and passion. The most heartbreaking part is that this illness has the ability to incapacitate and debilitate the greatest minds. I too live with this frustration everyday. It’s invisible, and one that no one will ever understand unless they have lived it. Whilst I am grieving the loss of a dear friend, I promise to help continue Hannah’s legacy, with other like-minded passionate individuals. I also promise to keep open conversations and share my story, to remind people that they are not alone- and there is hope. Lots of love and God bless, Eryn Dessiniotis

I was one of Hannah’s lecturers in pastoral & spiritual care at the University of Divinity. Hannah was a delight to have in class - always engaging and sharing her heart. I also saw Hannah for Spiritual Direction a few times when she was discerning God’s calling on her life. She will be remembered as a kind, thoughtful and energetic woman with a HUGE ability to love..
