Mental illness doesn’t discriminate.
It touches people of every age, background, and story — 1 in 5 Australians will experience it each year. Behind every number is a person, a family, a life changed. The pain of depression and anxiety can be invisible, but its impact is deeply felt — by those who live with it and by those who love them.
This event is in memory of Alfredo “Butch” Vista, and for all the men we’ve lost too soon to the silent weight of depression. It’s a chance to come together — to honour their memories, to remember and to turn our hurt into hope.
Every dollar raised will go to the Black Dog Institute, supporting vital mental health research and life-saving programs that reach Australians in their darkest moments, GN will be matching donations.
