24hr penalty shootout for Mental Health Awareness

Help me make it meaningful

The 24-hour penalty shootout is a fantastic initiative that highlights the importance of mental health awareness while honoring the memories of my friends, Jez, Kyle, and Micheal who have all lost their battles with mental health.

The main goal is to raise awareness about mental health issues, particularly the impact of depression, anxiety, and PTSD. I suffer with this and want to highlight that it’s a 24hr disease.

Collaboration with you Black Dog an organization dedicated to mental health awareness and support, adds credibility to my idea and a clear cause to rally around.

Date and Location: August 23rd August. Christie park soccer pitches.

In addition to the penalty shootout I would like informational booths, guest (like mental health advocates), and mental health resources for attendees.

I want to send invites to the local sports clubs, sports teams, schools, and community members to participate.

My fundraising target is $2500 and to encourage donations. I want to let people know how the funds will be used by Black Dog to promote mental health initiatives.

I would need help with promotion. Using social media platforms, local newspapers, and community boards to promote the event.

I’d love a board with all the Mental Health Resources. Including information about local mental health services and hotlines.
