Walking for a difference
In April 2025 I'll be walking over 150kms of the Larapinta Trek, over 8 days along the West MacDonnell ranges in Central Aus. I'm excited that this year I'll be walking alongside a great friend Ross McCallum, A football (in the loosest sense of the word!) teammate for over 10 years. Rossus (despite being from the North of England) knows a thing or two about resilience and is a huge inspiration for all who know him.
Walking together we hope to continue to raise awareness and support for this amazing organisation. Mental Illness does not discriminate and many people Ross and I know continue to take things day by day. Its important we all do what we can to support organisations, not just providing support for those in need, but also seeking to prevent more people having the need for support, through preventative research.
Taking inspiration from Ross, I'm also taking this opportunity to also better my own state of mind and physical wellbeing.... so this year I'm going to do dry January, February, March and April!
