Hi, my name is Liam Prichard and I am shaving head to raise awareness and funds for Black Dog Institute and the support they give to those going through mentally tough times.

The idea to buzz my head sprung from a stage play of Jonathan Harvey's "Beautiful Thing" (Everyman Theatre) I joined. The production team informed me that I must get my curls buzzed off for this role to better fit the time and setting of the play.
While coming to terms with this as it was, I came to the realisation that this buzzcut did not have to be a negative experience, and could instead be used as a way to spread hope and a little bit of happiness to people's lives. Hence, I chose Black Dog Institute as the organisation I wished to support due to the important work they do with mental health.

I encourage you to donate as much as you are willing to this cause as a little bit goes a long way. My goal is $500, but I believe with your help, we can go beyond that and make a truly meaningful change to many people's lives.
