Help me make it meaningful
Support Mental Health – Bob Hooton Cup Fundraiser
Mental illness doesn’t discriminate — it affects 1 in 5 Australians every year, often through conditions like depression and anxiety. The impact can be life-altering, not only for those experiencing it, but also for their families, friends, and communities.
That’s why we’re proud to announce that this year’s Bob Hooton Cup Day, featuring Lake Macquarie Dockers vs Newcastle City, will be dedicated to raising funds for the Black Dog Institute — a leading mental health organisation focused on research, support, and suicide prevention.
We’re aiming to create a meaningful day that goes beyond football, shining a light on mental health and supporting Australians doing it tough.
Every dollar raised will go directly towards vital mental health research and life-changing support services.
👉 Please donate now and help us make a real difference.
Thank you for your support.
