Let’s create a mentally healthier world!
On Thursday 10th September, it is World Suicide Prevention Day and eighteen months since I lost someone special to suicide. This is an issue very close to my heart.
To continue the steps of healing my own soul, to raise awareness of the impact suicide has on loved ones and the importance of speaking out when you’re feeling low, I’ll be sharing an open and honest recount of how difficult things have been for me.
As for physical steps, I’ll be running a half marathon along the Sydney coastline with funds raised going to Black Dog Institute and the great work they do for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention. Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated.
