Shine For Mental Health

Help me make it meaningful

Shine for Mental Health is deeply personal to me.
In March 2024, my children and I lost their dad to suicide. He was a heavy diesel mechanic, and through him grew my love for trucks, machinery, and the industry that surrounds them — a passion now shared by my two boys.

Truck shows and vehicle events became more than just something we attended. They became a place of healing, connection, and understanding. Being around people who “get it” showed me how powerful community really is.

I created Shine for Mental Health to combine that sense of mateship with purpose — to raise awareness, encourage conversations, and remind people that they are not alone. Mental health struggles don’t discriminate, and too many families know this pain far too well.

If sharing our story helps even one person feel supported, reach out for help, or start a conversation, then this event is doing exactly what it’s meant to do.

This isn’t just an event — it’s about looking after our own.

We are grateful for everything
