Zoo2Zoo 2025

Help me make it meaningful

After the magnificent experience of Bob Sheridan's Bike Odyssey 2023 and 2024, 2025 brings new challenges.

The challenges for 2025 include:

 1. January 10 - 20. Alps to Ocean in New Zealand.  This is completed and was a magnificent experience with 6 mates

2.  March 5 - 11. Thredbo to Dubbo via Canberra.  Over 700kms in 5 days. I will join the Zoo2Zoo Melbourne Canberra ride on March 5 in Thredbo and ride to Dubbo.

3. Wilcannia to Birdsville May 5 - 15. 1200 kilometers in 10 days

3 Dubbo to Newcastle; 450kms. The ride starts in Dubbo on Friday August 30 and finishes at Nobby's Beach on Sunday September 1.

All money donated goes directly to the BDI.

The purpose of these rides is to raise awareness of mental health issues and suicide prevention, whilst raising funds for the BDI to continue their important education and research programs. The Z2Z rides a great opportunity to raise awareness and being able to help others.

We all strive to help others. Meaning in life comes out of what we do for others; we understand that our prime purpose in life is to help others.

Mental illness doesn’t discriminate – it affects 1 in 5 Australians every year with symptoms like depression and anxiety. In Australia 9 people per day commit suicide; mostly young men. In the age group 15 - 44 the highest cause of death is suicide. These statistics are terrible and the impact can be devastating, not only for those living with it, but for those around them.

The funds raised for the Black Dog Institute support crucial mental health research, support services and education programs that help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

Help me create a meaningful moment for mental health as I work up a sweat, all for the BDI.
