I'm running The New York City Marathon on Nov 6th 2022
1 in 5 of us will experience symptoms of mental illness in any given year. In Australia that’s around 5 million people. And roughly 60% of these people won’t seek help.
The Black Dog Institute is a not-for-profit medical research institute trying to make a positive change in mental health research, education and innovation.
In June 2021 I was set to run the Western Sydney Marathon but unfortunately Covid had other ideas. Instead, I have been accepted into the New York City Marathon on 6th November 2022.
This will be my first time running 42km and I want to take the opportunity to raise money for Team Black Dog. Please consider helping me reach my target by offering a donation, however big or small. Every little helps :D
