Did you know that about half of all homeless people previously suffered
from a mental problem and the remainder developed mental health problems
following homelessness.
People who report having a Mental Health Condition are twice as likely
to have experienced homelessness in their lifetime.
After walking 110KM in 24 hours last year the team at Precision Sourcing
were able to raise over $30k. On the evening of Thursday 25th August the team
are now going to be sleeping out in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.
Mental illness affects 1 in 5 Australians every year, with the most
common being depression and anxiety. Mental illness doesn’t discriminate. It
affects people from all walks of life — individuals, families, workplaces and
communities.
