My journey to walk the entire Heysen Trail
To be honest I don't know much, and I know even less about hiking.
When I told people I was going to do the Heysen Trail I was met with two common responses: the first was "how exciting, how long is it?" Or the second "you're mad! Why are you doing that?"
In my mind it is something I have been thinking of doing for a while, but as with everything it was never quite the right time. Even now, I will still miss things that are super important to me but I can only hope that people can understand my motive.
Some people close to me have seen first-hand what has propelled me to take on this challenge, but for those that haven't, this is exactly what I need.
