In memory of a loved one
Leanne deeply valued the importance of mental health and believed in
the power of research to make a meaningful difference. Her heartfelt
wish was for family and friends to support the Black Dog Institute in
her honour. Leanne felt strongly that their work could provide hope and
advancements for those facing mental health challenges, creating a
lasting impact for generations to come.
Mental illness doesn’t discriminate – it affects 1 in 5 Australians every year with symptoms like depression and anxiety. The impact can be devastating, not only for those living with it, but for those around them.
Black Dog Institute is the only medical research institute in Australia to investigate mental health across the lifespan. Their aim is to create a mentally healthier world for everyone.
