Chris & Michael's Sydney to Melbourne tandem bike ride to the memory of Daniel Ognenovski
We are following in the footsteps of Danny by riding from where he grew up, in Baulkham hills to the Melbourne CBD on a tandem push bike. Daniel was a loving son, brother and friend to us all, who was always there with a compassionate ear and warm loving shoulder to lean on.
We do this ride in loving memory of Daniel to not only follow in his footsteps but to bring light to mental health issues and how so many suffer in silence.
Donate or don't, the whole idea of this ride is to get behind your mates, check in on them and be there for each other for the good times and the darkest of days, helping each other get through this journey called life together.
It is our intentions to do this ride as soon as humanly possible, however, Once the Victorian borders are open we will confirm exact dates for the ride but in the meantime we wanted to get the word out there and try to raise funds and awareness for mental health.
We will be going on a practice ride each week. We'd love for any friends to come down and join in, so get in touch for either of us.
