The Swimathon
We're standing up to join Team Black Dog to turn ground breaking research into life saving action!
Mental illness is becoming an ever-larger part of our communities. From the bushfires, to covid, to the droughts, it is imperative that we chip in and help our mates out in these trying times. With us personally knowing several people experiencing/experienced depression or mental health issues, it is a matter close to heart.
Rules for our swim:
- Each swimmer will increase the collective distance by 10km
- Each $ raised will increase our distance by 2m (i.e. $100 = 200m)
- The team will swim the collective distance in 1 day
The swim will take place on the 3rd of July at UQ pool. We hope you can support our efforts by donating or spreading the word!
