I'm standing up to join Team Black Dog to turn ground breaking research into life saving action.
Mental illness affects 1 in 5 Australians every year, with the most common being depression and anxiety. Mental illness doesn’t discriminate. It affects people from all walks of life — individuals, families, workplaces and communities. In 2020 and I'm sure in 2021, this has never and will never be more evident.
I'll be pushing myself through the toughest physical test of my life by aiming to complete the Geelong 70.3 Ironman of 21st February. A challenge I have never before attempted but a challenge I set myself in early lockdown 2020. This will however only be one morning and a few hours of my day. There are thousands of people being tested by mental health every minute of their life and for them the journey is a lot longer. Please help me raise money to support the Black Dog team in researching Mental Health illness and improving life for so many.
