After 8 years I’m losing my waist length Dreadlocks to raise awareness and funds for mental health.
Join us in the salon from 12pm on the 30th of JUNE for a 1pm Chop. There will be raffles and an opportunity to donate and chop a dread off yourself so remember to bring some extra cash on the day.

Mental illness doesn’t discriminate – it affects 1 in 5 Australians every year with symptoms like depression and anxiety. The impact can be devastating, not only for those living with it, but for those around them.
That’s why I’m making a change with a brand new hair-do and raising funds for the Black Dog Institute. Every dollar raised will support crucial mental health research and support services that help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.
Help me create a meaningful moment for mental health when I go the chop, all for a great cause.

Why am i doing this.
Friday 19th AprMy life has been touched by mental heath in many ways from my own personal struggles to losing friends to soon to suicide. I’m here to put a face to it and help remove the stigma surrounding it.
I have been growing my Dreads for the past 8 years and it was always my intention that i would raise funds for and awareness of mental health by cutting them off.
